Search iCog memory for relevant context. Returns memories with their IDs.

Args: query: Natural language query — what you're looking for. limit: Max results (default 8). memory_type: Filter by type — semantic, episodic, procedural, foundational. Leave empty for all.

Client usage

Call this tool through the hosted MCP endpoint at https://api.cognitivx.io/mcp/ with an authenticated MCP client. The local cogx CLI can also install the remote MCP server into supported agents.
