Set or clear the monthly Pay-as-You-Go spending cap.

Once cumulative billable spend in the calendar month reaches the cap, metered actions are blocked until the next month. Only meaningful on PAYG.

Args: monthly_cap_usd: Cap in dollars ($1 to $10,000). Pass 0 (or any value <= 0) to clear the cap entirely (no limit).

Client usage

Call this tool through the hosted MCP endpoint at https://api.cognitivx.io/mcp/ with an authenticated MCP client. The local cogx CLI can also install the remote MCP server into supported agents.
