Start (or upgrade to) a paid subscription. Returns a Stripe Checkout URL.

The agent cannot complete payment — open the returned URL in a browser to enter card details. After paying, billing_status() will reflect the new tier.

Args: tier: "awakened" or "conscious". interval: "monthly" (default) or "annual".

Client usage

Call this tool through the hosted MCP endpoint at https://api.cognitivx.io/mcp/ with an authenticated MCP client. The local cogx CLI can also install the remote MCP server into supported agents.
