Switch the account to Pay-as-You-Go (metered) billing.

Cancels any active subscription and moves to spend-metered PAYG. Unused subscription time is prorated.

Args: refund_method: "credit" (default — proration credited to the Stripe balance, applied to future charges) or "card" (refunded to the original payment method).

Client usage

Call this tool through the hosted MCP endpoint at https://api.cognitivx.io/mcp/ with an authenticated MCP client. The local cogx CLI can also install the remote MCP server into supported agents.
